Olivia’s Beauty Barn is a boutique beauty studio located in rural North Yorkshire, conveniently situated between York and Malton with easy access from the A64. The studio is based in a peaceful converted building on our family farm, in Flaxton, offering a calm and private setting for your treatments.

Yes. Patch tests are required at least 24–48 hours before treatments such as lash extensions, lash lifts and lash tinting. This helps ensure you do not have an allergic reaction to the products used. Please note that while patch testing reduces risk, it cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.

Yes. Olivia’s Beauty Barn offers evening and weekend appointments to help fit treatments around work and busy schedules.

If you arrive more than 10–15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid disrupting other bookings.

A 30% deposit is required to secure all appointments. At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations will result in loss of the deposit, and no-shows may be charged the full treatment cost.

Due to the size of the studio and to maintain a calm environment, it is recommended that clients attend appointments alone unless otherwise agreed.

Yes. All treatments include a consultation to ensure the service is suitable for you and tailored to your preferences.

Treatments are suitable for most clients; however certain medical conditions, medications or skin sensitivities may affect suitability. This is why consultation forms and patch tests are required.

Mild redness or sensitivity can occur after some treatments and usually settles quickly. If you experience persistent irritation or any unusual reaction, please contact Olivia’s Beauty Barn for advice.
